The Senate on Tuesday passed a vote of confidence on the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
The vote of confidence was passed on Saraki just as the Senate resumed from its six weeks holiday.
It also comes after the arraignment of Saraki before the Code of Conduct Tribunal for alleged false declaration of assets.
He was alleged to have committed the offence 12 years ago when he was the governor of Kwara State.
Senator David Umaru from Niger State moved the motion to pass the vote of confidence on Saraki on Tuesday.
The motion was supported by Senator Sani Ahmad Yerima.
