Reports filtering in on Friday has it that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have swooped on the Abuja house of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
Report says the Asokoro, Abuja home of former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Maduekwe, has not only been raided but also sealed by officials of EFCC.
Premium Times had earlier reported the news of Diezani's arrest, she was arrested early Friday morning in London, United Kingdom on allegations of corruption.
It was gathered that the EFCC were said to be looking for additional information with which she would be prosecuted.
If her trial takes place in and she is eventually jailed in the UK, she will become the second prominent Nigerian to be tried and convicted in the country on corruption charges.
The first was a former Delta State Governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, who is still serving his jail term in a UK prison.
Alison-Madueke served in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
