A 33 year-old Afghan man died after falling from a building under construction in Sharjah's Al Nahda area, according to a report in the Arabic Al Ittihad newspaper.
Sharjah Police's operations room received information that an Afghan labourer had fallen from a building under construction and rushed a police patrol and ambulance to the site and took the injured man to Al Qassimi Hospital but he died on the way.
The police is conducting an investigation into the case.
In another incident, a 30-year-old Asian was found hanging at the door of the bathroom of his house in Industrial Area No.10 of Sharjah.
Police was informed that a man had committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope.
A police source said the body was taken to hospital at 10.30am.
A CID team checked the scene and questioned some workers.
